Midwest Morning

Early morning of a soon-to-be-hot July day is a treasure to enjoy in the moment. This one was somewhere in the midwest...agricultural pursuits...a common enough American scene...turned magic by the slanting, warm-toned sunlight among the cool shadows.

2017
January - The southern regional hub of the Vermont Pastel Society is exhibiting recent work at People's United Bank on Main Sreet in Bellows Falls, Vermont every bank day this month.

April - Guilford Vermont Welcome Center. My recent landscape and garden paintings will be on display 24hrs a day between March 29 and April 25.
Interstate 91 North, at mile marker 5.6, (just south of Exit 1 for Brattleboro.) Bathrooms, wifi, nice place to take a break from driving. Stretch your legs.

September 24 through October 29th - I will be showing a selection of The Fifty States Plein Air Pastels as well as new garden works. I will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Artists' Open House Weekend with the other founders and artists of Susquehanna County Tour; all at The Butternut Gallery and Second Story Books on Church Street, Montrose, PA. 570-278-4011

2015

April -NUDES! -all month life drawings from the classes at the River Gallery School -many styles; many students; mine, too.

June and July - Opening reception at Butternut; Saturday June 13th 4-6pm of Earthly Delights-Behold the Garden. Exhibit continues through July 25th, 2015. The art work of over 12 sculptors, fabric artists and painters. I sent several pastels.

November - I will be showing a selection from the 50 States Plein Air Painting Project in the brand new, street level gallery at the River Gallery School on Main Street in Brattleboro, Vermont - next to the Latchis (details to follow)
